The goal of this modest glossary is to help you to understand some of the most popular Japanese terms sometimes used by fanfic writers.
Writer’s block is probably the most common complaint of any writer so if you have it, don’t get worried over the moment you’re in the block. It shall pass, and soon, if you relax first and foremost. The more you pressure yourself the worse the block will get.
Draw a circle that will contain the upper face. Trace 2 intersecting lines. A vertical one that you’ll use to draw the nose and the mouth and also an horizontal one for eyes. Trace 2 parallel of the main horizontal line. The upper one for eyebrows, and lower one for nose.
Fanfiction writing is not an easy venue. There are many traps, and many, many, nasty people waiting to pounce on you the minute you post your first fanfic. This little essay of mine will hopefully help you through some of these rough spots, and make you a little more aware of the genre of writing you are placing yourself in.
