How to Submit Fanfiction
We’re delighted that you’ve decided to submit fanfiction. It’s not a particularly difficult process, but there are some non-intuitive parts.
- First, you need to make sure that you’re registered and logged in.
- Once you’re logged in, please head to the Write page. It can be found alternately by clicking on Dashboard, then clicking once more on Write.
- Now you’re ready to submit your fanfiction! First Title you story by filling the Title box. If it’s a stand alone story you should write it like this “My story” and if it’s a multi chapter story you should write it like this “My very long story, Chapter 01” (so it can be found more easily). If you did it right it should look like this.

- Put your summary directly after the “Summary:” statement, and if you have an author’s note, put that after the “Author’s Notes:“

- Don’t forget to click on the “More” button. It’s very important. Now you can Copy-and-paste your story into the form right beneath the line with a “more…” tab.

- Finally, you need to make sure to select the right categories. Scroll down in the box to Fanfiction. Check the Fanfiction box, then select the appropriate characters, genre, rating, type, and warnings. You may check more than one box in each category, if necessary.

- When you’re certain that everything is correct (double check!), then click on the button that says “Publish.” You’re done! Congratulations!

- The following points applies ONLY if you’re posting a multi-chapter story. This is how you should proceed when you’re posting another chapter. Make sure to keep titling your story, as well as adding the author’s notes and the more buttons. Then it’s the same as above.

I’m having difficulties loading the template pages. When I try to click on the link for ‘post templates’ I see an error message. When I try to find it under the manage tab I don’t see a ‘post templates’ option. Is it my browser? Please help!
