Sunbathing
Author’s Note: Another illustration for the Sergeant universe. Despite the relative simplicity of the pose it’s been quite difficult to draw the boys doing their push-ups… I got a thousand references and they kept looking weird in perspective… Finally I managed to adjust the poses in the composition, making it reach a decent standard…
Coloring the sand has been quite fun: I love how it wraps around the boys hands and Baki’s chair… Looks so soft <3

I’m extremely pleased with this one. It’s exactly how I envisioned it in my mind. I agree with you Baki’s deck chair looks so comfortable. I like the irony of it, especially how Baki looks so relaxed when he’s making them working out so hard. They really found the ultimate trainer they seek.

I love how both Trunks and Gohan’s hands are buried in the sand partway, and it suggests they’ve been at it a while. The contrast in their skin tones is also great.
