Sunset's Tide

Gohan teaches Trunks to trust him through some sensual beach side bdsm.

The bondage used here leans more to the Japanese shibari style, not the standard Western ties most are accustomed to.

The beach was empty, protected on all sides by jagged black rocks, and still warm even though the sun was steadily dipping towards the horizon. White sand, smooth and unblemished, stretched out for several dozen meters on all sides and provided the two demi-Saiyans with a private rendezvous. Gohan landed first and after one last check to make sure they were alone he ignored the settings and instead turned to watch his lover.

His purple hair had grown long again, the ponytail waving in the wind as he landed. His left cheek sported a few fresh bruises from his earlier spar with his father and his knuckles were scraped, bruised from a few good hits of his own. As usual, he wore his jeans, black tank top and Capsule Corps jacket. Gohan smiled. Like father, like son, both lived in their training uniforms, be they spandex or denim. He looked over his body again. He wasn't sure if he liked him better with or without that jacket.

“Wow,” Trunks said. “How’d you find this place?”

“Flew over it one day.” Scoured the entire coastline for days more like it, Gohan thought. His right hand slid into his pants pocket and grasped Bulma’s gift. It’d taken hours of pleading to get her to make it and then long promises upon pain of death not to hurt her son but he had it…and tonight, he would use it.

But first, to make Trunks lower his guard. Not too difficult now, he’d had months already to make the boy from the future feel at ease around him. Ever since he’d returned from the future and opened up to him, Trunks was losing the nervous anxiety he’d had before, the constant looking over his shoulder for a sneak attack from all too powerful enemies and his nightmares were slowing, losing their edge. Only now and then did he talk in his sleep and Gohan was able to soothe his bad memories away with a whisper or a touch.

Tonight would not be a whisper or a touch, though, and Gohan feared frightening Trunks and betraying the trust he’d tried so hard to work up. He tightened his grip on the steel necklace in his hand. No, he would not hurt Trunks, never hurt him.

“The sunset’s beautiful,” Trunks said, startling him. “I've never seen it quite like this.”

Blues and golds spread over the sky like burning paint as the sun’s rays diffused in all directions and turned the white sand a burnished bronze. The golden glow framed Trunks, giving him a brilliant outline like an angel.

“Yeah,” he said. “Beautiful.” He sat down near Trunks’s feet and watched the waves rush in and crest and break. A moment later Trunks sat beside him. For awhile they sat quietly, the tide coming closer as the sun sank and the crescent moon crept up the beach. A few silver fins cut the water’s surface a short distance out but they were curved and soft. Out to play their own games, a pair of dolphins jumped and sent sparkles into the air. Gohan smiled but when he glanced at Trunks to see his reaction, he found his prince staring fascinated at their performance, a stunned smile on his lips as if he were a child watching fireworks. As pretty as the dolphins were, Gohan only listened to them splash and watched his lover’s face instead, taking in the subtle changes in his eyes and mouth as he laughed.

“I've never seen dolphins before,” Trunks said. “Only in books.”

“Never?”

“Mm-mm. We only went outside to train and even then…” He sighed. “And when I went back, I stayed inside most of the time. I’m still getting comfortable with being outdoors.”

“Oh.” Inwardly, Gohan quailed. Maybe I shouldn't have brought him here, maybe the bedroom would've been better or a fancy hotel or I could’ve borrowed a capsule house– He opened his mouth to speak.

“Trunks, I need to tell–”

“Gohan, I know you–”

They both stopped and smiled. “You go ahead,” Gohan said.

“Okay.” Trunks looked back at the ocean for a moment, now calm and flat and dolphin less. “I know why you brought me out here. Mom told me.”

“Wh-what?” Gohan’s body ran cold and he could feel his heart pounding harder and harder.

“She told me about the necklace she made for you and what you said.” Trunks glanced back at Gohan. His lover only stared at the sand, unable to raise his eyes. Trunks put his hand under Gohan’s chin and tilted his head up. “It’s okay. I’m not mad at you or anything.”

“Really?”

“I came out here with you, didn’t I?”

“Yeah…” Gohan blinked and tilted his head. “Why did you, if you knew what I wanted to do?”

“Mom told me what you said to her, remember?” Trunks heaved a sigh and let his hand drop. “And…I think you’re right. I haven’t trusted you. I mean, I trust you more than anyone else, but…there’s always this tiny doubt in my head. I can’t trust anyone entirely.”

“That’s from being under attack all your life,” Gohan said.

“I know. That doesn't make it go away.” He put his hand on Gohan’s pocket, feeling the necklace inside. “But this might. If it’s with you.”

“Trunks?”

Scooting around so that his back faced his lover, Trunks bowed his head and swept his hair to one side. Most of it fell back anyway. “You have to promise me one thing, though.”

Even as he spoke, Gohan dug Bulma’s gift out. “Name it.”

“If I tell you to stop, you have to stop.”

“I promise.” He knelt closer to Trunks, catching the scent of his hair as he put the steel band around his neck and clasped it at the back.

Immediately Trunks’s ki faded, going down so fast that Gohan thought it disappeared. Only after a quick check did he find it again, as low as a human’s but steady. He chewed his lower lip. At that level, he wasn't sure if what had been a love tap before would be a lethal blow now. He slowly put his hand on Trunks’s shoulder and breathed out in relief when nothing happened.

At his touch, Trunks looked over his shoulder at him. Though he wasn't physically fragile, his eyes told him how emotionally fragile he was. Despite the golden glow on the horizon, Trunks’s eyes were dilated so that they were almost all blue. Gohan brushed a few stray strands of hair from his face. “Are you okay? If you’re having second thoughts–”

“Yes, a lot of second thoughts,” Trunks said. “But I want to do this.”

“Okay…um…” Gohan glanced over at one of the rocks higher on the beach. “I left everything behind there. So it wouldn't wash away.”

“So I wouldn't see it?”

“Uh…”

A small smile spread over Trunks’s face, and he stood up, yanking Gohan after him. “Come on, I wanna see this.”

No matter his protests, Gohan let himself be pulled along the beach, their shoes kicking up white sand. When they came around the rock, Trunks sank to his knees and started to giggle. “Oh, wow…” He grabbed the first thing he saw, a length of white rope, and ran it through his fingers. “There sure is a lot of it…it feels like silk.”

“It is, I didn’t want you to be uncomfortable.”

“A blindfold, gag…a rosebud? You really planned this out. Um…” Trunks looked up at him. “How are we gonna do this?”

Gohan took a deep breath. “Take off your top.”

The jacket slid off his shoulders and lay on the ground. A moment later, the tank followed. Gohan couldn't help looking him up and down. Definitely better without the jacket.

“Turn around.”

“Aren't you going to undress?”

“Not yet. Turn around.”

Trunks obeyed. He felt Gohan’s hands on his wrists, bringing his arms behind his back and up, as if he were trying to cross his arms there. Gohan let go again but Trunks held himself still, waiting for his lover to reach around him for the rope. There were more lengths than one, he found, as a white end slid past him like a snake. With his arms bent halfway, the rope slowly wound itself around his forearms, binding them together, then curling around his biceps and cinching up tight. He twisted his hands and found that already he couldn't get loose but Gohan kept knotting the rope around his wrists and arms until all of that length was used up. In his position, his shoulders were drawn back slightly, forcing his chest out. Not a single rope crossed his front.

The knots were tightened once more, and then Gohan leaned back. “Does it hurt?”

“No, it’s just…weird.”

“Can you get loose?”

For a few seconds he tried, turning and pulling. His arms felt like they were trapped in a harness. He relaxed and breathed out. “No, I can’t.”

That got a reaction out of Gohan but he forced himself to ignore it for now and concentrate on tying his lover up. He put his hands on Trunks’s shoulders and pulled him back against himself, running his hands down his chest and stomach. He’d done it before, in the darkness of their bedroom, but here in the sunset, with no walls and Trunks’s not able to resist…

Later, he told himself, not yet. Though he lingered longer than need be on his skin, running his fingers down his lover and delicately tracing his nipples. Trunks made small noises, familiar from their previous couplings but they’d never sounded so maddening before. It was everything Gohan had to keep his hands going farther down and unbuttoning Trunks’s pants, pushing them off his hips.

With a kiss, he scooted back and lowered Trunks onto the sand, then went around and began unlacing his mate’s sneakers. Trunks watched him for a moment as he pulled each shoe off, then tugged his pants down his legs. His socks disappeared with them and his clothes made a small pile next to all the rope that he knew would soon clothe him. Next one leg was bent and tied that way, thigh to calf, so he couldn't straighten it out. A moment later his other leg was bent and similarly tied. Gohan sat him straight since he couldn't do it himself. He looked over his body. If he lost balance and fell on his side, he wouldn't be able to get up and…he blushed with his legs bent like that, he’d be perfectly accessible. Gohan’s purple-haired toy. He had to admit, though, he was a very neatly wrapped toy.

If Gohan had thought before that his self-control been tested, this was only worse. Trunks couldn't even wriggle much, let alone get away. His legs were even slightly spread. Gohan swallowed reflexively and shook his head to clear it.

“Gohan? Is something wrong?”

“No,” he said. “You just look so delicious like this I can hardly make myself wait.”

Trunks looked back at the sand but he couldn't stop his smile. Gohan suddenly stood and picked him up, carrying him over the beach back to the edge of the tide. He set him down on his knees on the wet sand and scanned the ocean one more time for any large predators but they were alone even the dolphin pod had gone.

“Wait…the tide…”

“It’s okay, I won’t let it carry you away.” He kissed him once and then tied the blindfold over his eyes. “That’s my job.”

Leaving Trunks like that, Gohan jogged back to his stash and picked up everything he planned on using. Better to have it all nearby than be running back and forth when he needed something. He turned and looked back at Trunks.

His prince hadn't moved, sitting with his head bowed. His hair floated in the light breeze and contrasted beautifully with his skin. His hands still twisted a little, testing his ropes but even several meters away Gohan could see he done a good job. Trunks couldn't get free. The tide reached up on the beach again, the white crest only just reaching Trunks’s knees, and the prince started and leaned back, his mouth opening slightly.

Floating over, Gohan closed the distance between them and set his bundle down where the tide wouldn't reach it. He knelt in front of Trunks and studied him. His prince didn’t know he was there, that was obvious, and he kept still so he wouldn't hear him. The water came up again, a little higher this time, and little sounds came out of Trunks’s mouth. The water was still warm with the day’s light, Gohan could feel it through his pants but he knew his lover didn’t like wondering if the tide was going to keep coming and eventually overtake him with powerful waves. It might sweep him out to sea if Gohan didn’t hold him and Trunks didn’t do well with anticipation.

He bent closer and quickly stole a kiss. Trunks gave a startled cry, opening his mouth wider, so Gohan took another kiss. This time when he released him, he saw his blindfolded love smirking.

“That wasn't fair.”

“But it was sweet.” Gohan ran his fingers through Trunks’s hair, twirling a bit around one finger. “Stolen ones taste sweeter, I think.”

“You could’ve asked.”

“Wouldn't have been as much fun. You doing okay?”

“Yeah, I’m good.”

Trunks felt Gohan’s hands on his arms. He was eased onto the sand and set on his back. Although each leg was bound, he could move them a little. Since he didn’t feel too comfortable with his knees against his chest, he put his feet flat on the sand. Gohan gently forced his legs to his sides, effectively opening Trunks up for him. Another wave came up to Trunks’s waist, swirling around him before rushing back. The sun was nearly gone now, only a few rays thrusting up from the horizon, and the water was quickly cooling. Sea foam sprayed a bit higher, falling on his skin, leaving sparkling diamonds in Trunks’s hair. Gohan slipped the blindfold off and watched Trunks blink a few times.

“This might be more fun if you can see the waves,” Gohan said.

“You still have your clothes on.”

“Of course, it’s getting cool out here.”

“Man…I could’ve at least kept my jacket.”

“No, you look better this way.” A moment later, he opened his mouth and put his head in Trunks’s lap.

Now Trunks was glad the sand was so soft as he craned his neck and dug the back of his head into the shore. Gohan was a tease but it was even worse since he couldn't grab the back of his neck and force him to hurry up. Gohan’s hands slid up onto his thighs, stroking the soft exposed skin. Trunks writhed under him, straining every muscle to try and break the ropes. His feet arched and he tried to clamp his legs together over his lover’s head. He was held down easily, not even a distraction for Gohan. He groaned and shouted and whimpered, but nothing convinced Gohan to apply even a little more tongue.

Without finishing his work, Gohan raised his head and stifled a laugh when Trunks cried out in frustration. The necklace sparkled in the moonlight and he reached out and traced it with a finger. At his touch, Trunks settled down but his breathing was still harsh.

“Having fun?” Gohan asked.

“Fun?” Trunks all but growled. “I swear, if you don’t finish me soon, you’ll be wearing this damn thing for a week.”

“Oh, I’ll finish you off soon,” Gohan said. “Before the night’s out.” He went down again, only brushing his lips against his lover and chuckling as Trunks starting struggling again or he would've been struggling if he wasn't bucking his hips so much, trying to press against Gohan.

The tide had come up as far as it was going to, sloshing no higher than their waists, so Gohan needed something else to tease his mate with. He found it in the single rosebud he’d brought with him. Grasping the thornless stem, he tapped the tip of the bud on a nipple pert from the cool air. Trunks bucked at the light sensation, tightening his muscles so much that he had to release them fast, almost slamming himself into the ground. Gohan watched, fascinated. The ropes not only kept Trunks bound, but they also kept him from hurting himself since he couldn't get much leverage in hitting the sand. He swirled the rosebud over Trunks’s chest, then brought it up his throat and chin, up to his lips.

Trunks moaned again. The soft touch felt like a kiss.

“Gohan…can’t you hurry up?”

“Sure I can. I’m just not.” He winced as Trunks started groaning again, his voice a low whisper. Gohan had a feeling that was all the strength his prince could muster right now. He grabbed a blue bandanna and made a large knot in the center of it. When Trunks opened his mouth wide enough, he pounced, pressing the knot between his teeth and holding the sides down as Trunks tried to push it out. With little difficulty, he tied it behind Trunks head and pulled free any strands of hair he’d captured while tying it.

The furious glare Trunks gave him made him pale and Gohan knew he’d better enjoy every minute of this because there would be hell to pay when the necklace came off. On the other hand, he had Trunks frustrated, teased to his limits, angry even…but not scared. The night was a success no matter how it ended for him. He tapped the rosebud on Trunks’s glistening tip. From the groan and the look on his lover’s face, it was going to end up bad for him.

Hoping to mollify his wrathful prince, Gohan set the rosebud aside and focused all his attention his lover’s pleasure. Finally, he pushed his own pants down a few inches, freeing a painfully hard erection. He brought Trunks’s knees against his chest and leaned over him, pressing himself against his lover’s ass. The thick sea foam didn’t seem like lubrication enough, and though Trunks didn’t show any sign of pain, since he was gagged and Gohan was self-guessing by nature, he grabbed a small tube, the last thing from his pile, and spread the slick cream over himself. He gave an apologetic smile to Trunks when he heard his moan. Trunks didn’t like the way it felt but he couldn't protect himself with his ki right now and Gohan wasn't about to hurt him.

Trunks couldn't help a high pitched whimper as Gohan gently pressed in all the way to the hilt, then developed a steady rhythm. They rocked together, Trunks with his head to one side and Gohan with one hand wrapped around his lover, pulling Trunks toward completion.

They came together but Gohan could tell from his mate’s reaction that his own climax was nowhere near as strong as Trunks’s. The Prince went as rigid as the metal around his neck, he screamed around his gag, then suddenly went limp, shuddering once as he caught his breath.

First, Gohan used the seawater to clean them off and pulled his pants back up. Then, he reached over and untied the gag. Trunks smiled and closed his eyes, resting while Gohan freed his legs first, then eased him onto his side and unbound his arms. They lay together side by side, staring at the stars.

“That was awesome,” Trunks breathed.

“Thank you,” Gohan said, tracing one finger over the thin rope marks on Trunks’s skin. “For letting me.”

“Thanks for not scaring me…” He turned his head to face him. “You did good, I was angry, but I trusted you.”

“Angry?”

“Yes, you little tease…you’re so in for it when we get back to Capsule Corps.”

Gohan smiled. He couldn't feel too worried about that maybe the punishment would be as fun as earning it was.
