Christmas Pudding

Making pudding is a dangerous thing but it can lead to some fun results.

This story is told from Gohan’s P.O.V.

Chapter 01
It wasn’t my fault.

Really.

I can prove it.

It was Christmas Eve, right? And mom was planning the Christmas party; it was our turn. What I mean is, every year we alternate ; next year the party’ll be at Capsule Corp.

Anyway, after mom had decided on what she was going to cook, she realized she needed to go into town and buy more food. She took Goten with her, just to keep an eye on him. With dad over at Bulma’s sparring with Vegeta, that left me home alone.

I had been watching TV for about five minutes, when I suddenly had a brilliant idea.

Well, I thought it was brilliant at the time.

Since mom was working so hard (and I had nothing else to do with my pathetic existence), I figured I could help out a bit and make something for the party, too.

If you ignore the fact that I can’t boil water, it really wasn’t such a bad idea.

So I went into the kitchen, looking for something that wasn’t too hard to make. I opened up the pantry and pulled out a box of instant chocolate pudding.

Simple enough. How hard could it be to make instant pudding?

I looked at the directions on the back of the box.

“Step 1 : Beat pudding mix into 2 cups cold milk in bowl with wire whisk 2 minutes,” I read aloud to no one.

I walked over to the cabinet and took down a medium sized bowl. Then I went to the refrigerator and got some milk. I put the items on the counter and pulled out a whisk from a nearby drawer.

I opened the box and poured the powder into the bowl. Not bothering to measure, I poured what looked like two cups of milk on top of the mix.

Hey, I couldn’t find the measuring cup. Sue me.

After whisking for all of about three minutes, I noticed something about the pudding.

It was lumpy.

And gritty.

I know I’m not the best chef in the world, but even I know that pudding is NOT supposed to be lumpy.

Or gritty.

I glanced to the side and spotted the blender. Then I had another brilliant idea. After a few seconds in the blender, my pudding would be as smooth as silk. I grinned as I poured the stuff into the blender, mentally patting myself on the back for thinking of such a great idea.

I pushed the ‘on’ button and prepared to sit back and relax.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

I forgot to put the lid on.

After slipping a couple times in the pudding that coated the floor, I was finally able to turn off the blender. Sighing in relief, I leaned against the counter and chanced a look around the kitchen.

‘Oh Kami, mom’s gonna kill me when she gets home.’

The room was practically covered in a thin layer of chocolate pudding. I didn’t even want to look in the mirror. I could already feel the pudding dripping off the tip of my nose.

Right in the middle of my pity party, someone knocked on the door.

“Come in,” I said, detachedly.

I absently noted the door creak open and the footsteps come closer and closer, finally stopping in the kitchen doorway.

I turned around and saw Mirai Trunks standing in the doorway, staring at the mess.

Mirai Trunks. My koi. My handsome, loving koi. My handsome, loving koi who had traveled across space and time just to be my mate.

And he was laughing at me.

Seriously. He was holding his stomach, leaning on the doorframe for support, and thoroughly laughing his ass off at me.

“Is it *really* that funny?!” I asked, glaring at him.

“I’m sorry, Gohan. Really. I just wish I had a camera.”

I growled and waited for him to regain his composure. When he did, he smiled sympathetically and walked up to me.

“What were you trying to do, koi?” he asked.

Turning my head away, I mumbled an incoherent explanation under my breath. Trunks put his hand on my cheek and turned my head back towards him, a look of expectancy on his face. I sighed.

“I was trying to make pudding for the Christmas party tomorrow.”

He raised his eyebrows and said, “But you can’t even boil water without burning the house down.”

“Yeah, I know”

He chuckled to himself, leaned down, and licked my nose. He grinned.

“Need any help cleaning up?” he asked, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

I blushed, understanding his intentions.

“Hentai,” I said, trying to repress a smile.

His grin became a smirk. Then he kissed me. Kami, I had forgotten how good he is with his tongue.
