A few hours later, after resting a little and recovering strength, Mirai Trunks thought it was time to inform everyone about what was happening on his timeline, he had to tell everyone about Black Gokū and indeed he did, he began to explain all the events that (unfortunately) led the future to the risk of destruction, explaining that long before Black Gokū arrival, he defeated Babidi and Dabura preventing the rebirth of Majin Buu in his timeline. So Black Gokū appeared out of nowhere destroying cities with the intention of killing all humans for "justice" according to what he had said, the armed forces tried to return his attacks without any success since that only worsted the number of victims and currently in the alternative future there were almost no human alive, so, following his mother advice, he traveled to the past in search of help to defeat that powerful enemy and return the peace to the future.
“Now that we have Gohan here with us, I think we will have more opportunities to defeat Black” Mirai Trunks said supporting his hand on his best friend shoulder “if he is willing to join the battle, we can make a team and overcome him in number”
Gohan looked at him silently and without understanding anything, he was waiting for him to join the battle against that guy similar to his father? He had not trained for a long time and who knows if he still retained all the power he released in the battle against Majiin Buu, maybe he had a much lower level than he had back then.
“Uhm, I don’t know what you're referring to with that, Trunks. But, in case you didn’t know, Gohan isn’t training anymore" Gokū commented with an expression of confusion as he arched one of his eyebrows.
"I didn’t have time to do it" Gohan said angrily, hating being told that he had not been training for almost seventeen years to keep his strength and power “it's not easy train and have to take care of a family! You know? You should have learned that already”
Gokū was silent, recognizing that his son was right in it, for many years Chi-chi had been scolding him for spending a lot of time training and not being with her or with his sons when they needed it most, he had missed many things that should to be important and to give meaning to his life: he had not seen Gohan grow up, he had missed Goten's birth because he had died in the battle against Cell to save the humanity, and now, seventeen years later, he had no choice but to work in the fields by Chi-chi obligation to be able to compensate all the lost time.
“But...” Gohan said out of his thoughts “although I haven’t been training for a long time, that doesn’t mean I can’t help you, I was thinking that here we have the chamber of time and spirit, that's where we can train to become stronger and defeat Black”
Vegeta and Mirai Trunks looked at him curiously and did not understand what the adult half-saiyan was talking about, but they thought that maybe it would not be a bad idea, after all, it would be three years (three days equivalent) training in the chamber of time and spirit, they could restore their powers and acquire greater strength to defeat Black Gokū .
“The idea isn’t bad but... what about your work?” Gokū asked seeing his son, gods! Gohan had almost forgotten that he should go to work that day, but fortunately everything has a solution.
“Don't worry, now I take care of that” Gohan replied taking his phone to call his work and tell them about his absence those three days, the wild haired saiyan watched him for a few seconds without understanding what the hell he was doing to until the voice of Vegeta pulled him out of his thoughts.
“I'm proud of you, Kakarrot. Your son is finally acting like a true saiyan” the saiyajin prince commented smiling, that was a strange thing in him, sometimes, when Vegeta smiled could get to scare anyone. Gohan finished talking on his phone, cut off his call and told Mirai Trunks to wait for him, because he had to change his clothes that he used to work for more comfortable ones so he could go train with him to the chamber of time and spirit.

Some small birds walked by the floor of the viewpoint of the chamber of time and spirit, pecking seeds and insects that were on the ground, Mr. Popo, the humanoid who was in charge of the place, watched them, when suddenly he could distinguish two figures flying towards there, the two figures landed on the spot revealing Mirai Trunks and Gohan who now wore a purple gi like that one his former sensei Piccolo wear, now it was bigger and he had changed the red bell for a light blue bell, his wristbands were blue, which belonged to the orange gi he had used in the battle against Majiin Buu when he was a teenager.
"Hi, Mr. Popo!" Gohan greeted him cheerfully.
The dark-skinned humanoid looked at him without understanding what he was doing there, it had been a long time since he last saw him there, he remembered that the last time he had seen him enter the chamber of time and spirit he was accompanied by Gokū, Vegeta and that time traveler called Trunks, of who he had not known anything else after the battle against Cell. Gohan explained how he could explain why Mirai Trunks was there, what was happening in the future, but above all he told him about Black Gokū and that they should train soon if they wanted to become stronger in order to defeat him.
“So, that is what is happening in the future” Gohan said concluding his story “could you have everything ready?”
"Yes," said Mr. Popo, looking at the adult half-saiyan and the time traveler.
“Well, then we are going to use the room for three days...” Gohan said, the humanoid asked them to wait, since he had to have everything ready so they could enter to the room where they would spend three years training, while they waited, Mirai Trunks looked the scenario that was shown around him.
“This place will surely bring us memories” Mirai Trunks commented watching the viewpoint and palm trees swaying in the wind, he closed his eyes and began to remember the moments he spent with Gohan in the chamber of time and spirit when he was barely a kid, he remembered when he helped him with his studies, when they looked at the stars until late at night because of their insomnia, he remembered his long conversations with the dark-haired half-saiyan before going to sleep and how excited he was to wake up the next day to begin a new day with him.
"The room is ready" Mr. Popo called them, taking the time traveler away from his most precious memories. Both half-saiyans looked at each other and started to walk to the bedroom, when they entered there, the atmosphere had become heavier, the weather was different from the viewpoint they had been waiting for.
"It's hotter here than I remembered" Mirai Trunks commented, wiping the sweat from her forehead.
“Yes and the space is much bigger” Gohan commented seeing the ample space that the chamber possessed, which was not bad if they wanted to train properly those three years, they continued walking until they arrived at their bedroom where there were two big individual beds for both half-saiyans, Gohan looked away to see his best friend from an alternate future “oh, so... which bed do you prefer?”
“Eh...”Mirai Trunks said slightly blushed at the question of the adult half-saiyan, he turned his gaze away and could see how Gohan gave him a smile that only caused his blush to increase more “w-whatever is fine, I don’t care”
He quickly looked away trying to hide his blush, which was not possible with Gohan near him; Gohan noticed his blush but he did not understand very well why his best friend was like this, would it be because of the heat? Or it was something else? He was not sure and he did not dare to ask him, the best thing he could do for him was leave him alone, for now, he would soon find out what was happening to him, now they would use the time they were there to train, after all, they should save the future and the few humans who were still safe. After assigning their respective beds, both half-saiyans left the bedroom to begin training.
“Since my defeat with Freeza I have re-trained with my sensei, Piccolo to establish all my power” Gohan said remembering the moment of Freeza's resurrection and how he was defeated by one of his guards, wounding him seriously, he was lucky that he would have been cured with a hermit seed but when he recognized that he had been defeated, he decided that he should train again to awaken all his power, he raised his hand making a fist with strength “now I will show you what I am available to do”
