Chichi felt bad about her outburst of anger at the sight of the matching tattoos and the abrupt conclusion of what they meant. She still couldn’t get over the fact that the two had bound their lives together in more than one sense. It was, however, not so uncommon as some people might think. With a spark of spite, she wondered what her husband’s reaction to the couple would be. Then again, with Goku’s lack of common sense, he might never figure it out.

To apologize for her outburst and to show her support, Chichi baked a large cake with the couple’s faces on the icing. In order to make it less embarrassing for everyone, she said that it was to celebrate all those birthdays they had missed out on in the Time Chamber.
