Most of the winter break was spent training. At the end of it, Chichi went into labor, and Goku took her to hospital. On the same day, she successfully gave birth to a healthy boy. She stayed in hospital for a couple of days to be monitored just in case and, meanwhile, while Goku wasn’t visiting her, he spent his time training with Gohan and Trunks.

Upon hearing the newborn’s name both Trunks and Gohan exchanged looks. Gohan glared at him to keep him from laughing out loud, but hardly managed to keep himself in check either. Really, his father was a simple man.
