The cooling blood felt clammy and was sticking to his fingers. Gohan’s body was unresponsive and heavy with its listlessness. Through the numbness that Trunks felt only one thought entered his mind – he would never feel Gohan’s warmth again. Trunks felt a choking bile filling his chest and throat. Then it suddenly clawed its way through, and he screamed his rage and helplessness towards the sky. His throat soon became raw and his protesting screams turned into sobs. Only that no one heard either his screams or sobs in the deafening silence of the pouring rain and no one cared about how he was going to continue living in this cruel and unjust world.
