011 : A Period of Adjustment

Fishing with Gohan appeared to be quite a different affair from what Trunks had imagined. It didn’t involve either fishing rods or hooks. Gohan himself acted as a fishing rod, a hook and a bait. The fish he caught was also twice Gohan’s size. It was going to last them for about a week. Despite this, Gohan went for another catch.

From the shore, Trunks watched him wrestling with the second fish. The excitement and the novelty had worn off quickly, and he found himself doing his best to respond to Gohan’s enthusiasm and his reassuring smiles. While he loved seeing Gohan happy, at the same time, it always brought those particular feelings of regret and injustice.
