After Turles' blotched attempt at harvesting all the energy from Earth and losing against Kakarot, Goku converted the pirate from villain to ally. The two develop a relationship, eventually becoming breeding mates, and after wishing a few family members back to life, Goku and Turles wish for a companion with certain... abilities to join their pack. Broly is added to the group, and together, Turles and Goku teach the naive, socially awkward Latcher about the wonders of Saiyan life.
