His prince hadn't moved, sitting with his head bowed. His hair floated in the light breeze and contrasted beautifully with his skin. His hands still twisted a little, testing his ropes but even several meters away Gohan could see he done a good job. Trunks couldn't get free. The tide reached up on the beach again, the white crest only just reaching Trunks’s knees, and the prince started and leaned back, his mouth opening slightly.

Floating over, Gohan closed the distance between them and set his bundle down where the tide wouldn't reach it. He knelt in front of Trunks and studied him. His prince didn’t know he was there, that was obvious, and he kept still so he wouldn't hear him. The water came up again, a little higher this time, and little sounds came out of Trunks’s mouth. The water was still warm with the day’s light, Gohan could feel it through his pants but he knew his lover didn’t like wondering if the tide was going to keep coming and eventually overtake him with powerful waves. It might sweep him out to sea if Gohan didn’t hold him and Trunks didn’t do well with anticipation.

He bent closer and quickly stole a kiss. Trunks gave a startled cry, opening his mouth wider, so Gohan took another kiss. This time when he released him, he saw his blindfolded love smirking.

“That wasn't fair.”

“But it was sweet.” Gohan ran his fingers through Trunks’s hair, twirling a bit around one finger. “Stolen ones taste sweeter, I think.”

“You could’ve asked.”

“Wouldn't have been as much fun. You doing okay?”

“Yeah, I’m good.”
