Toma fell to the dusty floor of the arena, utterly beaten, bloody, defeated. The announcer was speechless as the crowd roared in disappointment. Toma was, after all, one of the strongest elites in the desert territory. For him to have lost against an up and coming second class was enough to rile up the spectators.


True, the second class had shown promise all throughout their battle, and Toma did not make it that easy for him, but the tanned warrior should have won, and as per law, decided the fate of his opponent- usually resulting in death.


This second class, however, was not going to die by his hand, ever. Toma would never seriously harm Gine's younger brother, especially now that he'd make a life by Gine's side and Bardock's.


Speaking of which, Toma could hear heavy and desperate footsteps rushing towards him, and soon he was able to smell his future mate's scent before the scarred face he'd fallen in love with so long ago appeared in his peripheral vision, followed by the older Saiyan draping his body over Toma's injured one.


"Hurk! 'Dock- You're…" Toma wheezed and tried to speak through a strained voice, but the other wasn't having it. Bardock held tightly onto the larger body and wouldn't let go.


"Ya absolute idiot, Toma!" The Commander's voice was tense and shaky.


The former elite tried to chuckle, but his chest hurt too much to succeed at it. "I told you- I would- Give up anything- To be with you."


Bardock pulled back far enough to look at his suitor dead in the eye. Giving up one's rank, one's elite rank, was no trifle matter. This Saiyan had relinquished his status without a second thought. It showed just how much Toma cared for him. This was the real deal.


"Toma… I-"


Without thinking, and before he got cold feet, Bardock leaned in again, this time, their lips met in a fevered first kiss. Toma was utterly surprised his future breeding mate would kiss him so soon after meeting and in front of such a large audience.


"Mmm- 'Dock-"


"I don't give a fuck. Let them see." Bardock pressed their mouths together again and continued kissing his mate-to-be. Finally, he had found a latcher that would accept Gine as part of their circle, not to mention Toma's cock was quickly becoming Bardock's favorite flavor ever- he was utterly addicted. The sizable thing had ruined him.


While they made out, tasting their lips for the first time, the announcer of the Rank Reassignment Tournament continued with his speech, declaring Chivet the winner of the round. But then he stopped when an informant shared particulars in secrecy.


"Fellow spectators! It seems there will be a rematch as this one was staged!" The slender Saiyan said through the amplifier.


Bardock parted from Toma's lips to look at the announcer. He gasped when he saw the next contender fly down to the arena and begin undressing.


Up in the bleachers, Gine let out a loud gasp along with his parents, Oni and Nira. Tears began falling down his face- they didn't plan for a second battle, least of all with the elite royal guard.


"Fuck me sideways…" Seripa breathed out. He hugged his best friend to offer comfort, Gine and Seripa's tails intertwining as the naked, bulky contender approached Chivet.


Toma lifted his head from the ground to look at the two competitors. "No. This was not supposed to happen! Bardock-"


"He musta convinced the King the match was a set up and to let him fight." The master strategist frowned.


Regardless of Toma being stronger than the new opponent, there was no way in Hell Gine's brother would win against Nappa.
