The space, an infinite place, full of wonders, worlds and planets never discovered universes and various galaxies to explore. Inside a spaceship, a small four years-old boy was sitting in front of the window looking at the stars, looking for the constellations that were there, his name is Son Gohan, a small child born on earth but there is something that differentiates him from the other earth children, he is a saiyan thanks to his father Son Gokū, who is also a saiyan and was one of the few who had survived a tragedy that occurred on his home planet, which he could never know, but besides being a saiyan, he was partly a human thanks to his mother Chi-chi. Speaking of Chi-chi, Gohan came out of his reverie hearing a small moan of pain from his mother, his eyes fell on the spaceship medical area door which was open, there was his father sitting on a chair with his arms resting on the bed on which his mother lay, who was seriously sick.
How had this happened? why were both saiyans and the human woman on board a spaceship far away from the earth, traveling to an unknown destination? to answer both questions we will have to make an overview of what had happened a couple of days ago.

*Flashback*
It was a quiet morning in Mountain Paozu, Goku had gone out to train in a corner of the forest not far away from his home, Gohan was studying by his mother orders and Chi-chi was taking care of the house chores, starting with washing the clothes, she left the bedroom she shared with her husband and went to the bathroom to look for the basket with dirty clothes that she had to wash that day, while she went downstairs to the laundry room, she felt a little headache forcing her to take a hand to her forehead to calm the pain, she decided to ignore the pain for what remained of the morning focusing on the house chores, but after a few minutes, the pain became more unbearable and began to feel bad, at midday she took care of washing the bed sheets of her son's bed and her own bed ones, but just as she was about to go to take them out of the laundry, Gokū suddenly entered in the house, startling his wife.
“Gokū! Don’t appear in that way, you almost scared me" Chi-chi said angrily.
“I'm sorry, Chi-chi. I didn’t want to scare you, I came back from training and I'm hungry" the saiyan replied.
“Well, you'll have to wait a little longer because I haven’t finished washing the clothes” the dark haired woman replied going downstairs with the laundry basket, when she barely reached the middle, she began to feel that horrible headache again.
“Chi-chi, what's wrong? are you okay?" Gokū asked approaching his wife with concern.
“Y-Yes, I'm fine, don’t worry about me” Chi-chi answered trying to recover from her sudden headache.
“Are you sure? Because I see that...”
“I'm telling you I'm fine...!” Chi-chi could not finish her sentence because she felt that her legs did not respond, the basket where the sheets were rolled downstairs to the floor, she began to wobble a little, she had no idea what was happening with her, she wanted to talk but words did not come out of her mouth and she almost fell to the floor if it was not because her husband caught her just in time.
"Daddy?" Gokū saw Gohan standing on the stairs "I heard mommy screaming and I came to see what ..." he stopped talking when he saw his mother unconscious in his father's arms “mommy? mommy!" he almost ran downstairs towards his parents “mommy, what happened to you? Answer me, mommy...”
Gohan tried to make his mother react shaking her a bit but she did not react, the child began to worry about her and his eyes filled with tears, he looked at his father desperately looking for an answer but he did not even know what to say.
“We have to take your mother to a doctor” Gokū said, Gohan quickly wiped away his tears, the saiyan carried his wife in his arms, Gohan climbed on his back and they flew out of their house to go to the nearest hospital, he needed to know what was happening with Chi-chi and why she had fainted like that.
When they arrived at the hospital, the doctor received her and asked Gokū and Gohan to wait for them to finish attending her, they would soon notify the saiyan when they had finished the tests. Taking advantage of the wait, Gokū took his little son by the hand and took him to the cafeteria to eat something, meanwhile the doctor took care of Chi-chi, he checked her, did various tests but despite his efforts, he did not find the disease that the woman had or what was the correct diagnosis, in the end he choose to put her to rest a bit in one of the hospital rooms. Gokū and Gohan arrived a few minutes later; the doctor was waiting for them a little nervous.
“What's wrong with her, doctor? Is she okay?" Gokū asked, though sometimes he did not care at all about anything but training and fighting with powerful enemies that attacked the earth, now his wife's health was more important than anything else, after all, Even though they had married because of a promise he had made when they where kids, Gokū was beginning to hold in some care to the dark haired woman.
"Please tell me that my mom will be fine," Gohan said with tears coming out of his eyes, it affected him to see his mother stretched out on that hospital bed without showing signs of awakening.
"I can’t promise you that, little boy" the doctor replied “why don’t you go to play in the waiting room? I must talk something to your father” Gohan nodded and ran to the waiting room to play with other children who were in the hospital, when the doctor made sure that Gohan had left there, he saw Gokū “we've been checking the analysis of your wife and I fear that she suffers from an unknown disease, we are not sure how she could get the disease or what kind of disease it could be but we are certain that it is some kind of virus that seriously affects her immune system”
“So is there anything we can do for her? There must be some cure or something that can help her" the saiyan said worried about his wife’s health.
“I'm afraid there's nothing we can do for her, as I said before, we're not sure what kind of disease it can be and it takes many years of work to find a cure as soon as possible” the doctor replied “I'll tell you something, I suggest you take your wife somewhere nice and peaceful, free from all contamination and with a lot of pure oxygen to heal, maybe that will help her”
“I understand, then we just have to take her back home and...”
“No, I think you didn't understand me, I will be more specific, what I want is to take her to a place far from here... I mean, far from the earth, she has to find a planet that is suitable for her and so she can be cured" the doctor said, Gokū was stunned by the doctor's words had he heard well? He was telling him that he should leave the earth? no, he could not leave the earth, that was his home, Gohan and Chi-chi's home, and there he had his friends. How would Gohan react if he knew they had to leave the earth? he simply could not take the child away from home from one day to another; it would be hard to accept.
*Flashback End*

“G-Gohan?”
The younger half-saiyan turned his eyes from the window of the spaceship to see the medical area, apparently his mother had already woken up and was watching him with a weak smile, Gohan felt his eyes fill with tears and ran quickly towards the spaceship medic area to hug his mother, looked at her for a few seconds as tears flowed from his eyes, rolling down his cheeks.
“Mommy, Mommy!” Gohan hid his face in his mother's chest; Chi-chi looked a little surprised “I was very worried, I thought you would never wake up”
“Don’t worry, don’t cry anymore, Gohan. I'm fine" Chi-chi said matching her son's hug, Gohan hugged her harder without stopping crying, the dark haired woman looked at the medical area of the spaceship and then looked at her husband who was sitting next to her “Gokū, where are we? why are not at home?”
“Oh, um... well, you see, Chi-chi... it happens that...” the saiyan said a bit nervous, he had no idea how to explain to his wife that they were traveling to another planet so she could heal.
“Daddy organized a trip through space just for you!” Gohan said interrupting him, maybe it was not good lying, but at least he wanted to hide his mother the news for a while, at least until she recovered and they could talk more calmly.
“Did you really do that? Aww, thank you very much, Gokū! It wasn't necessary but I think I need to relax a little bit" Chi-chi replied, making Gokū laugh nervously at what Gohan had said... he just hoped that she would believe that lie, if she knew the reason why they traveled to another planet they would be in trouble.
"Hey, Dad, how long are we going to take to get there?" Gohan asked, looking at his father curiously.
