Trunks is sick. Gohan and Trunks have crushes on each other. And a picnic with their mothers.
Chapter 01
The beam of light seemed to strike Trunk’s eye like a hard mallet. Groaning, the young demi-Saiyajin rolled over to try going back to sleep.
He couldn’t sleep the night before, his thoughts occupied by his older and wiser counterpart. Trunks remembered the way the light glistened off Gohan’s hair like white diamonds glistening against dark velvet sheets…
“Rise and shine, sleepyhead!” Mom cried from just outside his door. Trunks winced. Mom meant well but right now, he could have strangled her.
Well, this wasn’t going to help his headache.
Trunks managed to sit up, leaning over his knees on the side of the bed before catching his equilibrium. He couldn’t recall ever feeling so miserable in his life! He was still sore from training yesterday too. Now, with half an erection, he was caught between a cold shower and a hot one.
Bulma cracked open the door. “Trunks?”
Trunks waved to his Mom. “Here, Mrs. Landau,” he said in his best “good student” tone.
Bulma giggled at that. “Trunks, it’s summer. You won’t see your literature teacher again until Fall.” She swept into the room and sat next to him. “Are you all right?” She put her hand on his forehead. “Gosh, you don’t seem to be running a temperature.”
“Mom,” Trunks protested, putting up his hand to push hers away. He chuckled, then winced. The effort sent a bolt of pain that sliced through his head.
Maybe he was coming down with something…
