Chichi smiled to herself when she heard Gohan laugh. She was glad to see him so excited. He was looking forward to the beginning of the training very much. His good mood infected even Trunks. The teenager was trying on some old Goku’s training gi, which Goku had amassed hundreds of. They were too big for Trunks, and she had to take in the fabric here and there. The result, however, was pleasant to the eye. There were no problems concerning the boots as Goku and Trunks wore the same size.

Chichi lowered her eyes back to the gi top that she was resizing. Everything was well. Her husband was recovering, her son was laughing without holding back for the first time in months. It would have been ideal if not for the danger lurking in the future. Goku had a tendency to underestimate his enemies. She glanced at Trunks again wondering how seriously Goku was going to take his words. At least he wouldn’t be alone in this.
