Gohan’s wounds had healed by the next morning. No matter how many times Trunks had witnessed the accelerated Saiyan healing, he still found himself amazed. Back in his timeline he had always wished all the others had the same recovery rate as himself or Gohan. He had thought it unfair that his friends and family got ill so frequently or took a long time to recover from their injuries.

Full of spirit, Gohan went outside right after breakfast. Trunks was amazed again, this time by his enthusiasm to continue training as soon as possible. One would think that after having been beaten up so badly, he would be more reluctant.

Trunks followed him outside. The Saiyan blood in their veins was both a blessing and a curse. The will to live and the survival rate were extraordinary. On the other hand, there was no stopping. A quiet, tranquil life was never an option for a Saiyan. The vigor and energy in their bodies always made them look for challenges, for enemies to overcome.
