Gohan had never told Trunks about his secret wish to have a pajama party. When Trunks suggested having one, he was over the moon. He was, to be honest, somewhat confused as well. A party with two people wasn’t exactly a party, was it? And what else could they do that they hadn’t done before while spending time together in his room?

Gohan’s doubts, however, were proven needless. The most important thing appeared to be the mood and the right frame of mind. He had had as much fun as he had imagined he would and maybe more. They had played cards at first and he lost to Trunks almost every single time. The other teen was surprisingly good at card games. They talked later. Trunks revealed that the secret of his skill in card games was due to him and his mom spending much time in hiding. Card games used to be almost the only fun thing they had been able to do together quietly. The teens talked some more until Chichi told them to go to sleep. They climbed each into their bedding, turned off the light and kept talking almost throughout the entire night.
