On Friday they set off to Brazil, Rio de Janeiro. Trunks was interested in trying out a fighting style called Capoeira that he had found in one of Master Roshi’s books. He thought that the authentic setting would be best for that. Gohan, meanwhile, was more interested in the local cuisine.

After their arrival, they spent most of the day practicing Capoeira. In the evening, they had dinner and started searching for a place to stay at. So as not to attract unnecessary attention and in order to save money, they chose a relatively poor neighborhood to settle in. The hotel wasn’t too shabby even though it visibly crawled with at least five different species of life. Trunks was amused to see how easily Gohan bonded a lizard pair in the toilet. It only took a few houseflies and the three became buddies for life.
