It was Trunks’ favorite time of the day…and it was even better today because he awoke to the aroma of breakfast. Bacon…runny eggs…toast…hot coffee. It meant only one thing and one thing only. Gohan was home. He and his mate had been together for years now, and between his work at CC and Gohan’s travel for teaching, they only see each other a few weeks at a time. Every time Gohan returned he made breakfast and to the prince it was their time. Their moment in between the hustle of long plane rides and board meetings. Mo ties. Just Gohan. And he loved it. Stayed up way too late waiting on his return only to awake just like this. Soon they’d be settled and could start a family. Just a few more months of breakfast and Gohan would stay. He’d return to his job at university until they decided who would carry their cub..then..
