051 : Forming a Plan

Apparently, Trunks was completely serious about that bodybuilding contest. Through one of the bookshop windows Gohan watched him ransacking the shelves under the title HEALTH & FITNESS. This was already the fifth bookstore that Trunks was raiding. Gohan had insisted on waiting outside with the pile of bags.

“Well?” he asked when Trunks had finally left the store.

“Ta-da!” Trunks exclaimed, showing a book with Satan’s face plastered on its cover.

“You sure?” Gohan wondered. “He isn’t exactly…trustworthy, is he?”

“It wasn’t him who wrote the book. His face is here to attract buyers.”

“Ah yeah. Wow! And you bought it? It actually works!”

Trunks rolled his eyes. “You don’t sound enthusiastic at all,” he noted.

“I have never been so enthusiastic about anything else in my life!”

Trunks rolled his eyes again.

“This makes the seventh book we’ve bought today,” Gohan said, watching Trunks store it in a bag with the other books.

“How about I treat you to cotton candy, you shut up and let me read one of these books in peace?”

“Oohh, now this is what I call interesting and fun!”
