068 : Pumping Up Muscles

The premises were buzzing with contestants. Most of them were already hard at work pumping their muscles to make them bulge and seem more prominent. Both Gohan and Trunks took a look at all the press benches, pull up bars and leg press machines, and decided that they had nothing to do there. Instead, they went outside so as not to cause unnecessary talks and confusion by their “strange” training methods.

It was still quite early and the street was almost deserted. They found an empty space in the parking lot and got down to work.

Gohan felt the asphalt bend and crack under his palms. “How about you take that foot off my back?” he grunted out in protest while doing another push up. “If they see what their precious parking lot has been turned into, they’ll make us cover the repair cost.”

“Don’t worry, they’ll never believe it was you.”

“You sure about that? They practically have my fingerprints on their asphalt.”

“Um. Yeah.”
