Still in disbelief, Gohan stared at the spot where Cell had been. There was nothing left only a trench with burnt grass around it. Cell was no more. It was over. Gohan exhaled shakily and powered down, his hair turning black. A few seconds later he was joined by Trunks, Piccolo and Goku.

“Well done!” Goku said grinning, his hand reaching out to pat Gohan on his head.

It was one of those very rare times when Goku showed his appreciation to his son and how proud he was.
