What I enjoy here is how Vegeta x Goku stays elegant without losing its tension. The cape, the armor, the polished floor — everything frames Vegeta as command incarnate, while Goku looks far too pleased to make this easy. Do you read this as control, flirtation, or both at once?
Which detail defines the mood first for you: Vegeta’s hand under Goku’s chin, Goku’s smile, or the Capsule Corp backdrop?

and still lets Goku control the atmosphere.
Goku is kneeling, but he does not look diminished. His posture is relaxed, one hand grounded beside him, the other resting easily on his leg. He looks up with that bright, knowing smile that turns the whole arrangement inside out. Vegeta may have placed him lower in the frame, but Goku behaves as though he has chosen the angle because it gives him the best view.
That choice matters.
A forced hierarchy would make Goku look resistant or subdued. Instead, he appears amused by the formality of it, almost indulgent. Vegeta is treating the moment like a royal decree. Goku is treating it like a private joke they both understand.
The hand beneath the chin becomes the point where those two interpretations meet. For Vegeta, it is command: look at me. For Goku, it is invitation: keep going.
I also like the Capsule Corp setting because it makes Vegeta’s royal image feel constructed rather than inherited. The throne room is gone. The Saiyan kingdom is ash. What remains is a technological palace built by the family he chose, where he can still rehearse command without pretending the old empire survived.
And Goku, naturally, is the one person who can kneel before the prince without ever becoming his subject.
So I do not read this as simple control.
I read it as Vegeta staging authority for the only man who can enjoy the performance without believing the illusion.
Vegeta holds Goku’s chin.
Goku holds the balance.
