What catches me here is how the image divides the risk between them.

Vegeta is the one who crosses the distance. He climbs into Goku’s lap, takes his face in one gloved hand, and commits to the kiss with the same refusal to hesitate that usually carries him into battle.

But Goku is the one who makes the moment stable.
