The gold hair pulls the eye first, almost like a legend made flesh, yet Vegeta’s expression quietly rewrites the balance: smug, controlled, dangerously pleased, as if being close to Kakarot’s power is not enough unless he can also make that power look back.

What makes the image work is that it never treats Goku’s brilliance as something Vegeta simply worships from below. Vegeta is impressed, of course — he always is, even when he would rather die than say it cleanly — but here that awe has been turned into possession, pressure, and private challenge.
