Basically, the idea is that in the battle against Goku Black in Super, when Zeno erased him and technically Trunks' universe, instead of Trunks going to that other timeline, Zeno put him in a different universe where there was a 'space' for him. In that universe/world, Saiyans were descended from bees instead of the Oozaru.
