Gohan was beginning to see that Bardock’s take on the situation was indeed correct. It was just as important for him to sway the crowd as it was to win. He peeled off his own, letting it fall to the platform with less flair but more effect.

It wasn’t that Gohan was some battle scarred veteran but he did have a jagged one that ran down his left side and twisted to his back. The oiling made it and the one on the corner of his jaw stand out all the more. There were few things that couldn’t be healed properly in a tank.
