058 : Posing Practice

The bodybuilding competition was only a couple of weeks away. Yet Gohan still had trouble believing that he was really taking part in it. Even while practicing how to pose and which way was the best to flex muscles Gohan couldn’t take any of it seriously. He listened to Trunks absently and did as told, but it was only because he liked being around the other teen.

“This pose should give you the most points,” Trunks said, pulling Gohan’s arm upwards to make the muscles appear more prominent. “Imagine how nice it will look once you’re all oily and shiny.”

Gohan tried and failed, a roast chicken appearing instead in his head. “Um… Yeah, should look awesome,” he muttered trying to sound at least a little excited. His stomach rumbled.

Trunks’ eyebrows rose. “Hungry? But you’ve just eaten!”

“If you call a glass of some weird green juice and a tasteless chicken breast with a mushy boiled carrot a meal… Then yeah, I have.”

Trunks sighed. “Fine, go and see if you can find any leftovers.”
