“So what do they say?” Gohan wondered.
“What? You mean these tattoo-like things? I doubt they say anything.”
“They obviously do. Why would they even be here otherwise?”
Trunks shrugged. “I don’t know. They sort of mirror each other. They seem to fit like a puzzle.”
“I just hope they don’t say anything like ‘Chicken with curry’ or ‘Zeus was here’.”
Trunks laughed and pulled Gohan into his embrace. “I’m sure they don’t. If they say anything at all, it’s probably something like: ‘Gave half of his life’ and ‘Received half of his life’.”
“Would make sense,” Gohan agreed. “Or, perhaps, they say ‘Just married’.”
“They’re different – they both can’t say the same.”
“Okay, then ‘The bride’ and ‘The groom.”
Trunks whacked Gohan over the top of his head playfully. “Will you quit it?”
